Debra Powers is attending the Virginia State Bar Annual Meeting in Virginia Beach. She will be attending meetings and activities relating to her service on Bar Council, as well as her service on the Board of Governors of the Diversity Conference and the Board of Governors of the Family Law Section. She is especially excited to attend the Diversity Conference’s CLE – Representing the Developmentally Disabled in Virginia Criminal Proceedings: What you Don’t Know Can Hurt You and Your Client. This CLE has a great panel, including Senator Jennifer McClellan and Nick Dubin, PsyD – a leading advocate for legislative reform for the intellectually and developmentally disabled.
